On Saturday we took a trip to the old town of Certaldo Alto. This is the oldest part of the nearby little village, that is up on 
the hilltop ("alto", high). We had a great time exploring the scenic streets and took in an exhibit of ceramic art in the town square. 
While we were there, we saw a local wedding with some very stylish guests in a beautiful setting. Had to take a few photos. I know Anna will appreciate "the hat".Again there were ancient frescoes and architecture, friendly locals and the feeling of timeless beauty. Great food at a local trattoria.
